Migraine in Woman

Abstract
Migraine is a common disorder that disproportionately affects women. In some women, the incidence of migraine is increased around the time of the onset of menses. Menstrual migraine is commonly encountered in woman who are experiencing attacks of menstrually associated migraine are more severe and have a longer duration than non-menstrually asociated attacks. The pathogenesis of menstrual migraine is not understood completely. But it maybe related to estrogen withdrawl or prostaglandin release. The guideline for migraine treatment were included to provide a systemic review and evidence based recommendation for acute and shortterm preventive treatment of menstrual migraine
